yup
i downloaded the latest source of the alsa website and did the old fasion ./configure , make , make install, of alsa instead of emerging it.
I've run into a problem, i want to emerge kde-3.2.1 but i'm getting compilation problems. One of the requirements for kde-3.2.1 is alsa 0.98 (i have a later one installed manually). How can i emerge KDE?
