| I've been using Gentoo 1.4....what would be the difference if I installed gentoo2004, the new release? In what way is it different? Can I get it by doing an emerge -uD system/world? |

| If you have kept your system up-to-date using emerge -uD world then 2004.0 will be less recent than your system. The beauty of Portage! |
