I am experiencing a strange problem. I started with 2.6.4 kernel and randomly my keybaord would decide not to work  . I switched to 2.6.3 thinking it was just buggy, but the problem persists. when i select the quit option from fluxbox screen goes blank with a blinking cursor. basically my keyboard stops working randomly and i am forced to powerdown manually. I am running a T22 thinkpad btw. any ideas would be appreciated. |

did you try to boot with 2.4.x?

| well I ran 2.6.3 before with no problems. Not sure what the variable is. I did notice it happen even if i do not run a wm.. even if it sits at command promt, it may happen randomly. any ideas? |

Try 2.4.x, that can isolate the problem a bit more.

| Are you using a KVM by chance? I'm having a similar problem, but it seems to start when I switch back and forth between my gaming box (XP) and my linux box... it's random, but happens from time to time. |
