The radeonfb has serious issues in at least the 2.6.3 kernel. The console has errors a lot, editting in nano is a pain with that , and after X shuts down everything goes downhill...so yea.
Not that I use it much anymore now that I have KDE up, but I'd still like it fixed. So is there any work on fixing this(these) issue(s)? Is it already fixed in other kernel sources? Just wondering.
BTW, the 2.6.3 sources are working for all my other hardware right now(well...except CD audio...*shrugs* but that's in another forum...and the radeon 3D acceleration not working...) so I'm not in a big hurry to switch kernel sources unless the sources that are fixed are stable.
Thanks. |

The new ones don't work with my igp 320. It is best to use the vesa fb for now. _________________ Come rapture, so I may inherit the earth. |

Well I am using 2.6.4-love1 with an igp 320m and I am using the radeonfb (the new driver), which is working wonders. |
