Hi all !
Is there somebody here who succeed in installing Gentoo on a HP9000 D220 ?
I found a LiveCD in an experimental directory (called livecd-hppa-beta_04.iso) and i don't know if it works with standard D220.
I would like to get information before killing my current HP-UX 10 system !
Thx for you help ! |

I have a 712/60 and it's segfaulted twice while trying to bootstrap. I'm gonna try a stage 3 this time...

D220 is reported as working with serial console at http://www.pateam.org/list.html.
Looking at the details for D220 (PA7300LC 132MHz, Lasi, Wax, Phantom PseudoBC GSC+) it's pretty much a B132L in a server case (with no Dino PS2/PCI and no graphics). My B132L works beautifully (if slowly ) so there should be no problems with D220.
