Voila j'ai hésité longtemps avant de poster ce message mais là je commence à fatiguer.
J'ai un PC connecté sur un réseau de 4 PC, 1 sous Gentoo (le mien lol) et 3 sous Windows XP.
J'ai Samba Version 2.2.8a, et j'arrive à voir les autres utilisateurs de mon groupe ("151") mais je n'arrive pas à partager mes fichiers. J'ai fait un
adduser toto puis
smbpasswd -n -a toto

mais l'utilisateur toto ne peut pas se sonnecter sur ma machine. Win lui demande toujours un mot de passe. Par contre sous Linux j'arrive a voir mon PC (comme les utilisateurs win) et se connecter avec n'importe quel nom : mais en visionannt un répertoire partagé le message d'erreur apparait : (dans l'explorateur de xcfe4)

Une piste possible...

As-tu vérifié les droits sur /home/thior/Documents/Libre , aka 'public' ?

Samba vérifie dans un premier temps les droits définis sur le partage dans /etc/smb.conf , mais bon là ton partage est en

public = yes
equivalent à
Code:
guest ok = yes
ce qui autorise les connection anonymes, puis ce sont les droits UNIX qui entrent en jeu.

Par conséquent si les droits sur ce repertoire sont de type d??????---, lors d'une connexion anonyme, tu te fais jetter

Par ailleurs le droit 'x' pour others est-il positionné sur /home/thior ? /home/thior/Documents ?

Arf comment j'ai pu louper ca ! Honte de moi. Ca marche : l'exploration de mon repertoire a partir du PC linux marche. Grand merci!
Demain je vais essayer à partir des PC windows.
