Still having problems with sound on Inspiron 5100

First I had a problem where my sound was only coming out of my headphone jax, and now I finally got it to come out of the front speakers. Now when I try to run ET, it seems to hang up when it gets to the sound part. I used KDE system guard to kill arts. I have the kde sound thing disabled so Im not sure why it was up in the first place, and also is it possible to run TS and ET at the same time?
