hi folks,
I've just emerged kde-3.2.1, but now the trouble is complete:
no user can login to kde, only root can.
/var/log/kdm.log says
Code: | (II) [GLX]: Initializing GLX extension
QImage::convertDepth: Image is a null image
QImage::smoothScale: Image is a null image
|
I've allready tried genkdmconf --no-old, but it still doesn't work |

Did you remember to change the kde version in the KDM menu? I think it's Menu->Session Type->kde-3.2.1. It made a big difference on mine. If that still doesn't work, stop KDM, login at a console as a user, change your .xinitrc to contain the line 'startkde', and run 'startx 2>&1 | tee startx.log'. If that fails too, post the newly created startx.log here.
