|
|
Hi all,
I have a problem with my CDROM drives. Because I want to burn with my IDE CDR, I use my CDROM drives with the ide-scsi emulation. Burning CDs works great, but since I use this emulation, I can't mount my drives.
Everytime I try it, I get the following message:
Code: | # mount /dev/scd0 /mnt/cdrom
mount: Not a directory
|
But the node /dev/scd0 and the dir /mnt/cdrom exists!
Has anyone an idea? Greetings, Matthias |

I think the device should be something like /dev/sr0,
look at dmesg to find out witch device youre using.... |

Hmm... Even if I use "/dev/sr0" I get the same error. I notice that CD drive begins to work, but it cannot be mounted...

Hrm. I had the same problem, but my drive is a combo dvd/cdrw/cdr/cd.
I had to use /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 to make it work. |
