Uploading fails

I'm using xfsamba to do my network downloading and uploading. I can download just fine from my WinXP machine, but uploading has issues. I uploaded a word document to the WinXP machine and then walked over to the XP machine and tried to open them. When I got into the folder where they were located Explorer crashed. Obviously this is an explorer issue with not being able to handle poorly uploaded files, but it's also a samba issue with not being able to properly upload files. BTW, the files themselves were just fine, cause I copied them to a floppy instead and was able to open them that way on the XP machine.

Now, I'm not entirely sure that this is the place to post this, but I don't know how to submit a bug report if this is a bug, or even if it is a bug. Maybe someone else encountered this and fixed it? *shrugs*

Can you open a dos box in XP and get the contents of the directory where the files are supposed to be? Perhaps the filenames are not windows-friendly?
