Alsa seems to work...

Alsa seems to work wioth my soundblaster live, but the front speaker will not make any sounds at all. I jacked all the values up in mixer but to no avail. any ideas?

Hello

it could be your motherboard has the output pins swapped and therefore the FRONT-sound is on another pin. (eg surround in your config). Check kernel Dokumentation for module switches and look here:

It always worked before. My real quesion is how can I get all of the speakers running? not just 2.
