I just Stage 3 installed Gentoo this morning, everything else seems to be working okay, but I'm getting the netprobe error some others are getting. I'm using a Tulip DEC ethernet card, which I chose what looked like a module that would work for it, but it's apparantly not. I know there's a Tulip Module family in the 2.6.x series, but I couldn't figure out how to get that. I'm using 2.4.25 on this one...any ideas on what I can do? |

Zephirias,
Boot the liveCD and do lsmod, to see which modules it uses.
Boot gentoo and do lsmod. One of the modules in the liveCD list thats not in your list is the one you want.
Reconfigure your kernel and do Code: | make modules
make modules_install |
