I have just reinstalled Gentoo I curently have Evil Entity setup on /dev/hda with lilo as the bootmanager , I reinstalled Gentoo onto /dev/hdb
both drives are set with boot swap and root partitions and thats all
Evil Entity boots fine but when booting Gentoo I get the following....
"Warning : unable to open an initial console

Any ideas on what could be wrong (or I have screwed up )
Oh yeah running latest Gentoo sources kernel and reiser as the fs (I have done this without issue since my first install),lilo is setup on /dev/hda
I would prefer to run grub , but thought since I already had lilo setup I might as well just point it to the second install as well ,

mm looks like lilo was on crack  , changed my gentoo drive to primary and installed grub , I can now boot into gentoo and evil entity no probs , I still havent worked out what was with lilo but oh well I prefer grub anyway ...

mmm after rereading my conf.. I sort of relised I had made a stuff up ..it helps if you mount the second drive  ... moderators feel free to remove my inaine rambling....lol
