tips for getting windows onto a gentoo/reiser/grub box?
hi
i have an epia m10000 with a singl2 0gb hard disc - 3 partitions: boot (ext2), swop and main (reiser).
problem is i want to play counterstrike on this (exceptionally portable) pc. i need to:
create a 5gb fat32 partition (easier to read / write and all that)
install windows xp on said partition
install all my stuff on it .
problems i think i will face - please repy with suggestions / experiences!
resizing the resier fs partition - is this possible? possible from within gentoo (kde)? i don't have a cd rom drive in the machine (its that small!) so i have to rip it apart every time i want to use a cd...
when i install windows, will it overwrite my MBR? if so, whats the best way of getting it back? - i use grub btw.
thanks!!!

If you have a videocard with good linux support (nvidia) then first try to get counterstrike running with wine.. _________________ In "old" Europe we already have a word for "pre-emptive strikes" mr Bush: its called "war" |

HA!
unfortunately its an epia m10000 - that means a complete remerge takes a minimum of 72 hours . imagine counterstrike under wine? actually i'd prefer not. it would suck horrendously. the graphics chip is built into the Northbridge AFAIK.
i'm fairly certain i'd use qtparted for the fs resize - what about reinstalling grub?
cheers
