I'm not getting any sound from xine. At first I thought that maybe it couldn't decode dolby digital. Then I stuck in a dvd with pcm, and it still isn't playing any sound. But most of the options in xine for audio, are greek to me. How should I configure audio?
My setup:
gentoo-dev-sources w/ alsa compiled in
maudio revolution 7.1
logitech z-560 (4.1) |

| Okay, I just needed to enable arts to get sound. But now I'm only getting stereo. And I can't hear the lfe. I don't see any options in xine to select the speaker setup. How do I get 4 ch output? |

| Okay, now for some reason I'm not getting any sounds. The xine control panel now shows options for diffrent sound setups, but doesn't do me much good if I can't get any sound. |
