hey,
I've setup a terminal server, and what I'm looking to do is create a TINY linux distro that will (preferably) fit on a floppy disk (or at least a small hdd) and connect to the terminal server over a lan. I want to use it on old pcs like p100's and the like.
what I need would be linux with networking support and X built in.
anyone know of any linux distro's that can do this ? I've found the ltsp.org and PXES - but is is possible to setup gentoo to fulfil such a need ? (not in current form obviously )
any thoughts much appreciated! |

Check out the LTSP mailing lists - there have been inquiries on using it with Gentoo (I've been using Debian, so I haven't kept up with them). |

You don't really need floppy at all, a suitable NIC works as well. Look here |
