I am having certain problems with The Gimp's "neon" script-fu/logo. On certain words, it does the correct neon tube effect - on other words, that effect is missing entirely. I can't figure out why, nor can I even find a pattern in what words cause it to malfunction. However, the same words cause it to malfunction repeatedly.
Here are JPEG examples:
The correct one:

The bad one that it keeps doing:

Some download links for XCF files of these:

Has anyone else experienced this problem? Try it in your Gimp. Use these two words as a test. The one that works is "CuStom CoMputers"... the one that doesn't work is "Custom Computers".
BTW, my kernel is 2.4.19-gentoo-r7, my gcc version is 3.1.1, and my GIMP is version 1.2.3. _________________ Even a stopped clock gives the right time twice a day. |
