i set up with gentoo installation document, and after rebooting
they said that eth0 and eth1 failed to connect.
I have two ethernet card one is nforce2(don t work) and the second one is dlink dfe 530tx
I want to know what are all steps to install the dlink and which one is dlink. |

If you build your kernel with both network card drivers as modules, you can control which card is which by the order you load the modules in.
btw, the nForce2 ethernet works OK if you use the forcedeth driver ("Reverse engineered nForce ethernet support"). What kernel are you running?

Are you sure you configured your /etc/conf.d/net file properly? |
