| im using a seagate hard drive on a nforce2 board (epox ep-8rda+). the file system is reiserfs. i can't get dma to work. what do i need to change in my config? im running 2.6.3-r1. i have AMD and nVidia ide chipset enabled. |

Could c&p the rest of the ATA driver section from your kernel config, maybe you've missed an option. I've got an nForce2 board here (abit an7) and dma is fine.
