I haven't tried XP64, but my brother found it unusable. Gentoo does just about everything in 64-bit mode. I still need a 32-bit browser for Flash, media player for Microsoft codecs, and WINE (crossover office and cedega) for MS Office and games. Installing mplayer from 32-bit Fedora binaries was a little tricky, but WINE and Firefox-bin installed easily through portage. The only thing I miss is reiser4. |
