installed kde 3.2.1 but splash screen still says 3.2

hi... i have installed kde 3.2.1. i know this to be true because my konquerer version is 3.2.1 and the control center also lists the kde version as 3.2.1.

but....

when i log in on kdm the kde splash screen says "kde 3.2". in addition, the start menu has " kde 3.2" on the extreme left.

is this correct ? or should my splash screen and start menu should say kde 3.2.1. ? i am just curious why the splash screen has not been updated to 3.2.1.
