What driver (gpio/serial/it87 etc.) should I use for Kworld 878 tv card/remote? |

that's not very helpful...
KWorld 878RF is not one of the many cards listed in the lirc configuration menu. It's using gpio to control the remote, that much I know... |

You want the gpio driver. I have a KWorld 878-RF-Pro and it worked for me, though my card's infrared decoder is now broken (pulled out IR receiver with computer on, shorted +5V and another terminal inside card.... badness.... at least the TV tuner still works )
Take that as a warning, the docs say not to do that for a reason, it would seem.
LIRC_GPIO Should work for you.
Now I'm trying to get LIRC to go with the audio module (slightly modified the IR sensor from TV card, plugged it into soundcard), I can 'hear' the signals, but can't figure out how to get LIRC to recognize my 2nd soundcard's ALSA mic input....
Any help would be much appreciated. (been googling for hours!) |
