Buon giorno a tutti!
Ho copilato i driver per la pcmcia firewire e (fortunatamente) sembra funzionare. Ora pero' ho un problema: non riesco a trovare in /dev il dispositivo da montare. Qualcuno ha gia' provato?
Ps: kernel 2.6

stai cercando di montare un drive firewire?
se non ho capito male vedi se hai caricato ohci1394 e sbp2 e controlla i msg del kernel con dmesg.

E' tutto ok, anche perche' ho 2 firewire: una integrata (con /dev/ieee1394) e una firewire pcmcia (di cui non trovo traccia in /dev ma probabilmente perche' non so dove cercare). Mi serve quella esterna perche' ha il connettore rande, mentre quella integrata ha il connettore piccolo. |

lo so che non è la soluzione più geek di sta terra, ma se non usi la firewire del portatile potevi comprare un cavo firewire da connettore grande a connettore piccolo  , così bypassavi la pcmcia
