emerge -s quake3 and you will see the best q3 mods, you don't need anything else.
And I really don't understand why you are talking about wine. |

My favourite mods are threewave and RA3. Both work well under linux as does most other Q3 mods. Wine is absolutely not needed.
In portage right now there is:
quake3-alliance
quake3-alternatefire
quake3-brainworks
quake3-cpma
quake3-defrag
quake3-nsco
quake3-osp
quake3-ra3
quake3-ruinhunters
quake3-threewave
quake3-truecombat
quake3-urbanterror
surely thaat is enough mods for you. |

Actually, I don't
All mods are for Windows and Linux... its the same files. Just unzip them in the Q3 directory. _________________ Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun. - Ash, Army of Darkness |

ra3, osp, cpma, 3wave are all good
also don't all mods work on linux and windows as they all run from a vm or a so/dll ?? based on the same sourcecode?? _________________ kernel 4.15.17-1-equk | i3wm | github |
