I'm thinking about giving Gnome 2.6 a try once it is released. Currently I am not running a DE, just PekWM. Currently I also have my USE flag set to -gnome. Can I just change my USE flag to gnome. then emerge gnome and everything be alright? Do i have to recompile packages with this new flag? Sorry if this is vague, just trying to see if I can expect any problems prior to giving it a shot.

maybe a few packages like gstreamer will have to be recompiled (to get gnomevfs support) but you should be just fine, and any problems should be able to be ironed out after you have done the initial emerge.

Nothing should be broken/buggy if you emerge GNOME whilst having -gnome.. if it is, it should bre reported as a bug (note that this does not include optional features)
