something is wrong with my eth0. no matter how i set my network up i get a

If you only have a single network port, you must use the 2.6 kernel to get the nForce2 networking to go.

If you have two network ports onlt one will work with the 2.4 kernel. Choose the right one to plug the cable into.

Post te exact ID of your motherboard and I can get the info from the net.
