Hi!
My Inspiron is working quite good with the kernel 2.6.0
With Kernels greater 2.6.0 i have a strange problem: everything is working fine UNTIL i reboot my laptop. After rebooting alsa is not working anymore!
The laptop:
Inspiron 8000
maestro3
Geforce2GO
I tried 2.6.4 and 2.6.5-rc2.
Has someone solved this problem? |

I have a Dell Inspiron 8100 which also uses the maestro3 driver. I am currently using both the 2.6.4-ck1 and 2.6.5_rc2-love3 kernels.
For the love-sources kernel, I actually had to set up ASLA again and save the settings. After that, I was able to reboot with sound.
Happened several times on me and I am not sure why. _________________ My Company: Hakata Consulting |
