Hi

I don't know what did I update and when it happend but since yesterday, when I login (as root or normal user) I am getting something like this:

Code:

-bash: /home/aleczapka: is a directory
-bash: /home/aleczapka: is a directory

Do you know where is the place something went wrong?

I can't figure it out.. was searching several files under /etc but no go..

It also happens if I remove my .bashrc or .bash_profile - so they are ok.

any hints would be appreciated... thx

I moved my orginal /etc/profile into /etc/profile.orig, then I just copied/pasted into new /etc/profile from old one.. now it works.. the funny thing is that if I try to use the oringal /etc/profile I am still gettning this error - there must be some character or line which is broken.. vimdiff shows that 2 lines are different however they are empty in both files.. anyways glad I solved it..

thx ikaro anyways..
