Or /dev/dvd for that matter :( It all happened after me messing around with udev. After uninstalling it, they were gone. If I create symlinks in dev pointing to /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 or cdrom1 then they work fine, but dissapear after reboot. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?

maybe try to use mknod to create a new one. Read man mknod first
