I'm using kernelversion 2.6.4-gentoo-r1 and no sound is working.
My soundcards are a VT8233 and a Envy24HT based one.
The Envy does not work because the Eeprom cannot be read. No driver support -> OK.
The second one has a PCM Mixer control which is set to 0 an cannot be set to something else....
What can I do to get one soundcard working? |

We need to know what you've tried. What settings is your kernel compiled with?
