ok..new problems with gentoo on IDA array

so.... the history was that 1.4 RC1-R2 version live cd did not detect fasttrack 133 on board raid chip... but 1.2 version does detect the chip
and lets you do insmod ataraid folowed by insmod pdcraid
after that fdrisk /dev/ataraid/disck0/disck is ready to work
but something realy weard happens here... if i create any partition
with fdsik from 1.2 version iso cd.... my winXP cd is not able to boot then
it freezes !!!!!!! next.... linux freezes while doing instalation too...
with no worning.. it happend while rsyncing... or emerging gentoo kernel sources.... or doing something else.. it simply freezes with no keyboard response... and HDD led is ON :/ thats prety bad... and i think its something in ataraid drivers linux uses.... oh... at first i thought it might be something becouse of this new file system reiserFS or something like that... but then it did the same with ext3 file system
so.. what is wrong here ? what it does to partition that WinXP boot cd even freezes until i clear partition from linux
and why linux freezes while trying to install it? HELP !!!!
