There are moments during a good table tennis game when you're in need of a nice curse
So what's your favourite one in arabic (and what does it mean and how is it pronounced)? |

I grew up in Indonesia, and I am familiar with the prayer chant, which was sung in Arabic, even though I do not understand the meaning. It's very silent here in the morning, I miss my hometown.

Salam |
alaykoum salam,
the poet say : "To Pray Is To Remember God, But We Remember Only What We Forgot !"
Al-azan, "call to prayer" (chanted by al-muazin, "the prayer caller"):
Ahl-LAH-hoo AHK-bahr God is Great!
Ashadoo AL-la ee-LA-ha IL-la-ahl-LAH I witness that there is no god but God.
Ashadoo AN-nah Muhammadan Rasoolulah I witness that Muhammad is the messenger of God
Hi AH-lah ahs-sah-LAH Come to prayer!
Hi AH-lah al-fah-LAH Come to prosperity!
Ahl-LAH-hoo AHK-bahr God is great.
La ee-LAH-ha IL-la-ahl-LAH There is no God but God.
(all phrases are repeated once except the last two)
take care of you,
abidou |

Thanks, I appreciate that, although I am not Muslim, but it surely reminds me of my hometown. _________________ CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo
