System hangs on boot with hotplug

Hi!

I've been having some problems on my machine, which was running 2.6.3 fine up till a couple of days ago. For some reason, it now hangs and dumps an error message to the screen when hotplug is loaded... This is the output:

This was using the gentoo-dev-sources. I also tried the mm-sources, with my own kernel config and the default one, and it happened again and again.

I'm having to boot into my old 2.6.0 kernel to do everything I need, but it doesn't have the drivers, etc to setup MythTV, which is what I wanted to do...

Can anyone help me?

what version of hotplug are you using?
i had some problems with 20040329 and reverted back to 20040311
(just add =sys-apps/hotplug-20040329 to /etc/portage/package.mask and emerge -u world to do so)

20040311 isn't exactly trouble free either...

Apparently there's a new release coming soon so maybe you should wait for that.

Sorry forgot about that! It's whatever the latest un-masked version is... which is 20040105.

I just emergeed 20040311 and that bombed too...

Any ideas?
