I've gnome-2.6-rc5 in my portage tree but no gnome 2.6 final are present :(

I'm syncing tree since yesterday...

Please suggest me your rsync mirror!!!

I never seen a final version with che suffix _rcX :D

Yea I suspect ebuilds will appear without that suffix but they will probably be just the same, rc = release candidate. So once there is a release candidate with no major bugs etc it becomes the final release :D.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there was a GNOME 2.6RC5 release. This is a pseudo-release exclusive to Gentoo.

As is, it is NOT final. Several packages are still sub-2.6.

On the rc5 thing, you are probably correct I haven't been following Gnome releases that closesly. I just assumed from what others had said that there was an rc5 that had been promoted to 2.6 - my bad :roll:.
