Hello,

the url of the printer is:
http://www.usa.canon.com/html/conCprProductDetail.jsp?modelid=9526&item=9647&section=10223

I want to buy this nice multifunction printer, but I want some info if I can use it for printing and scanning under gentoo linux. (for example with cups)

Kai

EDIT: Perhaps I could printing with the Turboprint Drivers? Anyone has this printer?

Hello,

yes you are right. The mp360 is working great with turboprint driver (www.turboprint.de). :D
What sais your log and cups itself? Have you compiled in usb printer support in the kernel?

You can read on here for the japanese driver https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=94604&highlight=canon+i450

But I don't know if the japanese driver is working.

If you know it please write it down here.

PS: The MP360 is similar with the i450 printer!
