Hello,
the url of the printer is:
http://www.usa.canon.com/html/conCprProductDetail.jsp?modelid=9526&item=9647§ion=10223
I want to buy this nice multifunction printer, but I want some info if I can use it for printing and scanning under gentoo linux. (for example with cups)
Kai
EDIT: Perhaps I could printing with the Turboprint Drivers? Anyone has this printer? |

Hello,
yes you are right. The mp360 is working great with turboprint driver (www.turboprint.de).
What sais your log and cups itself? Have you compiled in usb printer support in the kernel?
You can read on here for the japanese driver https://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=94604&highlight=canon+i450
But I don't know if the japanese driver is working.
If you know it please write it down here.
PS: The MP360 is similar with the i450 printer! |
