lot of corrupted download

Hi,

I am using an IBM X31 with Intel PRO/1000 Gigabit Ethernet under reiserfs filesystem.
My ram was tested with memtest86+ and seem to be ok.
I am using shorewall with iptables as firewall.

A lot of my file get corrupted (sometimes, and more often if they are big) when I download them.

I will try to reinstall my system : emerge system -e

I am not sure but sometimes I get the same result with my IBM atheros wireless card... (but I don't remember if I was using it or my ethernet card)

Could It be a partial corrupted filesystem ?

I would recommend you emerge mirrorselect, and use it to get mirrors that are faster for your location. This may alleviate some of the issues you're having with file corruption.

I am using mirrorselect for a long time with the nearest mirror...

the problem is not coming from there.
