Hi, I have a small problem with DRI.
I have an laptop centrino with Intel Graphics 855GM, and have the i830 compiles in the kernel.
The funniest thing is that the i830 doens't work but the i810 does work.
In the XF86config is the i830 the message is "i830 module not found", with i810 it all right.
How can I fix this?

Or there is an gremlin inside my laptop?? :D

Sorry

First of all, I recommend going to
http://dri.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/moin.cgi/Building for instructions on how to build the DRI CVS. Let's see if that fixes your problem, and if not, please post your XF86Config. Good luck!

my problem was I had to do a chmod 777 to /dev/dri/card0 everytime to get gl apps to work.. but sounds like you may have a whole different problem here.. Good luck!
