|
|
I've compiled in IPTables/NetFilter(/...) into the kernel:
Code: |
karpman-alex root # cp /proc/config.gz ./
karpman-alex root # gzip -d config.gz
karpman-alex root # cat config | grep NETFILTER
CONFIG_NETFILTER=y
# CONFIG_NETFILTER_DEBUG is not set
karpman-alex root #
|
Then I've emerged "iptables".
I was overwhelmed by the param list so I decided to install somethin nicer.
Since I'm using KDE, the natural choices were "kmyfirewall" and "knetfilter".
knetfilter has passed version 1(while kmyfirewall is in a pre-ver-1 status), and sounds like it gives more control I emreged it.
When I ran it for the first time it complained about not being run as root.
When I ran it as root he told me that I haven't compiled in netfilter)which is boviously wrong...)
Besides installing another prog...what can I do?
Hell...I don't even understand what's the problem...
Please please please....? _________________ ...It's the question that drives us...
