Do you have any specific questions? Or are you looking for more general setup tips?

I don't know if this is excactly what you mean, but here it goes:

I use coaxial calbes at home for my LAN connection. It's only 10 Mbps, but my internet isn't much faster :).

The big advantage is that you only need one cable, instead of drawing 1 cable from every computer to a hub / router / switch / ... It's quite easy to install, and I haven't had any problems so far (except for that one time my sister knocked the terminator of the end of the cable ) :?

I am confused with all setting you should do in /etc/conf.d/net and /etc/resolv.conf files. I followed handbook's tips step by step but I'm still getting connection errors for example I can't ping outside IP numbers. So if you can help please do it because it is very needed

Here it is
--------------------------------------------------
ifconfig_eth0 157.24.115.160 broadcast 157.24.115.255 netmask 255.255.255.0
gateway="eth0/157.24.115.1"
--------------------------------------------------
that all what I have selected and ofcourse couple of nameservers in my /etc/resolv.conf file.

it should be a simple case of adding an ifconfig_eth1 line to there, and doing the following:
Code:
ln -s /etc/init.d/net.eth0 /etc/init.d/net.eth1
