I'm not sure that it has to do with gnome, but when I installed gnome, I started noticing that ssh-agent will always pop-up in top running in the background and taking up 50% or more of my cpu. Right now I have just been killing it, because it bogs my system down like crazy. This is obviously not a permanent solution. Something about this seems very fishy and suspicious. Anyone know why ssh-agent would be running in the background all the time and taking up major cpu time? Is it possible that someone hacked my computer? Thanks in advance for your comments.

It must be some bug. I've noticed the problem also. But only since I upgraded to gnome-vfs-2.6.1 I think. It could be another package too....
I dunno.... _________________ LinuxUser: #310384 |
