you mean that konqueror doesn't use kget for downloads?
-> within kget 
(don't know how the menu's are named in englisch ... but as you are from germany i guess i post the german menus 
KGet:
Einstellungen -> KGet Einrichten
[Erweitert]
* Einbindung in Konqueror
* Hauptfenster beim Start anzeigen
disable those two checkboxes - that should help i guess.
I would love to use a download manager like kget but actually it always hangs-up if i start some downloads *g
So i use normal konqueror |

No, I'm using the default lang=en but that does not matter

I never thought about disable it in KGet itself - since was hanging  |
