ibookSE 366 mhz G3 blank screen-trying to to install 2004.0

Help

After yaboot I can see the kernel start to bootup but after about 2 seconds my sreen goes blank and system contunes to run. How can I get my old ibook's screen to stay on.

try booting from the yaboot prompt like:

>live video=ofonly

to force it to use the working video resolution from OF .. sounds like the kernel is having a problem figuring out what it should be doing with your monitor

I think there is also live-safe or something like that (press tab at yaboot prompt) which does the same thing
