Mp3 Playback is slow but cd playback is great

being searching for an answer to this for a while now but no beef.

After upgrading to Gnome-2.6 my cd playback continues to be great but MP3 playback is painfully slow. tried changing Gstreamer-properties to alsa and alsasink and nothing happens its almost as if gstreamer config CANT create the proper sinks.

if there is a fix please let me know before i file a bug.
