Hallo Leute,


ich moechte gerne eine Nikon Coolpix 775 unter Gentoo (Kernel 2.6.4) einbinden. Dafuer habe ich im Kernel hotplug, SCSI disk support und natuerlich alles fuer den USB Massenspeicher Support eingebunden.

Ausserdem habe ich digikam installiert und hotplug selbstredend ueber rc-update gestartet. Trotzdem bekomme ich bei mount -fstype=auto /dev/sda1 /mnt/usb folgende Fehlermeldung und /mnt/usb bleibt leer.

Kann mit BIIIIITTTTEEEEE jemand helfen

Danke schon mal im voraus.

Der log schaut eigentlich nicht schlecht aus...
probier mal mount -t vfat /dev/sda1 /mnt/usb

JUHUUUU :-) Danke!!! Es hat funktioniert. Ich Trottel musste bloss noch vfat im Kernel einbinden. Hatte ich natuerlich nicht. Aber nun tut es :-)

Wozu fix in den kernel? Er sollte das Modul eigentlich von selber laden wenn du was entsprechendes mountest, im schlimmsten Fall einfach in die modules.autoload.
