Playing a .ogr file?

I 'got' a movie :wink:

from a friend, and its filetype is a .ogr...its plays fine in his windows media player so it must be a codec of some sort, have any of you ever heard of it?

Hi,

1) can you post the first 80 bytes of the file?
2) can you ask your friend what he uses to play it on his machine?

i have heard about this file format from my friend, but i am not sure if this is right, but maybe it helps...

the movir with the .ogr ending should be a divx compressed movie, but with ogg vorbis sound, so try downloading divx and open it with mplayer,

he uses Windows Media Player. Its still downloading, but I'll let you know.
