Just installed Gentoo 2004.0 on VMWare, compiled with AMD PCnet32 support. When I start it up it says that it can't bring eth0 up and that netmount wasn't started correctly.
I have VMWare networking set to NAT (same setting that worked for the LiveCD install), /etc/conf.d/net set to dhcp...no dice.
Any ideas?
