Some programs don't function because of something relating to DRI. How do I fix this? I am running a 2.6.3-r1 kernel with DRM loaded into the kernel
make menuconfig
Code: |
Character devices --->
<*> /dev/agpgart (AGP Support)
<*> Intel 440LX/BX/GX, I8xx and E7x05 chipset support
[*] Direct Rendering Manager (XFree86 4.1.0 and higher DRI support)
<M> ATI Rage 128
|
OpenGL is enabled in my XF86Config and I can get opengl stuff to work (not more than 30 fps). Do I need to enable the AGP support and my PCI bridge as modules?

You could try following :
Check for a line like "loadmodule DRI" in /etc/X11/XF86Config and try to comment it out .

Just tried it, no change whatsoever. Thanks for the idea though! |

Just loaded everything under DRM in the Kernel as modules, no change. I am out of ideas. |
