|
|
I made manually my XF86config file (after installing gentoo for the first time )
and it works, but only in depth '8' for my screen because i put "vga" for driver for the graphic card.
I have a radeon card, can you tell me please what is the driver for radeon ? To suport better depth ?
Tahks very much |

Do you have a 2D radeon or a 3D radeon? Older ATI cards have support with the "radeon" driver. Newer cards with 3D acceleration use ATI's drivers, which you can install separately by emerging "ati-drivers" and changing the Driver to "fglrx". _________________ "No question is so difficult to answer as that to which the answer is obvious" -- George Bernard Shaw |
