Salve...
Dopo aver installato il kernel 2.6.4 ho la pcmcia di rete che quando la inserisco non mi fa partire in automatico lo script net.eth0 mentre se rebooto col kernel 2.4.20 funziona correttamente e cosi per far funzionare la lan devo sempre avviare net.eth0 manualmente...
Ho fatto diverse prove e ho visto che se metto net.eth0 nell'rc default funziona solo che se non ho la pcmcia inserita poi mi da gli errori all'avvio (infatti non va messo nell'rc da come ho letto nella guida di installazione di gentoo)
ecco cosa fa all'inserimento e rimozione della scheda sul 2.4:

dimenticavo...il 2.6.4 l'ho compilato io...non so se ho dimenticato qualcosa ma non credo perchè se lancio il servizio manualmente tutto funziona

Hai riemerso pcmcia-cs dopo il passaggio al 2.6? Che versione stai usando?

| ho appena emerso la 3.2.7 mentre prima avevo la 3.2.5-r1 ma ho sempre lo stesso problema...dopo l'emerge della 3.2.7 mi ha pure aggiornato 1 file di config ma non va azz... |

Quando hai riemerso pcmcia-cs /usr/src/linux puntava ai sorgenti del kernel 2.6 che stai usando?
