Ciao a tutti.. non capisco se è una limitazione linux o cosa.. cmq io non riesco a mettere in play + di un file per volta.. mettiamo che ho mplayer e xmms aperti e voglio sntire la musica e il film (a me succede) come faccio?

Devi usare un server sonoro per riprodurre più di un file contemporaneamente.
Per esempio sotto KDE
-Ad mplayer passa l'argomento -ao arts
-Con XMMS usa il plugin per arts
Questo dovrebbe funzionare

Per farlo con alsa devi vedere se per la tua scheda ci sia il supporto per il mixing hardware se non ti resta solo l'utilizzo di un sound server.

crei un file .alsasoundrc con il contenuto indicato in quel post.
poi guardi se funziona.... se non funziona forse ci sono parametri da sistemare ma non so come aiutarti in quel caso.
Io ho provato e da me (piu o meno) va, a parte che il volume di alcune cose é bassissimo...

questo (credo) solo perché non va l'emulazione oss e l'output delle applicazioni oss deve essere catturato con l'apposita utility... non sono sicuro che sia necessario.
